Wendy Bouwman obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Anthropology from Simon Fraser University in 1994. She soon began her pursuit of a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Alberta. At the U of A, Wendy was heavily involved with Student Legal Services, serving as the Legal Education Coordinator in 1997. She later graduated from the U of A Law School in 1998. Wendy has been with Andrew, March & Oake since then, focusing her practice primarily on Immigration Law and Criminal Law.

Wendy currently is an active member of the Canadian Bar Association's Criminal Justice Section and sits on the executive of the Association's Immigration Law Section. She is also a member of the Criminal Trial Lawyer's Association.
